HOW TO DEAL WITH THE UGLY PHASE OF LOCS.

The term ugly phase is used to connote a stage in the locs process where your locs looks generally unattractive and unruly.
Usually manifests during the early stage of forming locs and it's as a result of three major changes that occurs in starter locs which are shrinkage, swelling and frizz manifesting during budding.
It is a phase embraced by some while others see a need to put it under control probably due to work/social ethics.

A number of options available to deal with it include;

2⃣ Use of scarf or durag during the day

3⃣ Use of suitable wigs over your locs.

4⃣ Others include hairstyles such as braids/twists over locs.
