😍 HOW TO GET YOUR LOCS THICKER

This article is for those who are already on their loc journey and do not want to start over again in order to have that desired thickness. Y'all, I got some life saving hacks.
So let's begin;

1⃣ By combining: 
This method creates an actual thickened loc achieved by combining two close locs together either by
🅰 creating a two strand pattern with them and subsequently retwisting them as a single loc. The idea here is that with time,the loose hairs from each loc will mesh together and cause them to form a single loc.
🅱 through the use of a crochet use(the tool used for creating instant locs). You do this passing the hook through the two set of locs and go in and out of the locs with the hook through the entire length of the loc.
🆎 by combination of the above i.e you do a two strand twist with the two locs and crochet them together with the crochet hook. This uses the frizz produced by both locs to mesh them together ro form a single loc immediately without waiting for time to combine them naturally.

2⃣ Do not retwist/palmroll to the end of your locs:

Do you know that the swelling or budding of your locs you notice in the beginning of your loc journey,if you had let them alone by not retwisting them along with the new growth,the hollow space in them would have been filled up with hair over tine to craete a loc the size of the loc giving rise to a thicker loc.
That said,next time you wanna have a retwist do not retwist to the end of your locs,give them a chance to thicken up. Better explanation of this in the next point.

                          

 3⃣ Do not tame your frizz:

I know most of us have the habit of taming down our frizz, by palmrolling it or crocheting them into the loc, whenever we have a retwist to give it a neat finish. But do you know that by leaving that frizz alone it forms a second layer of loose hair over your locs which automatically give your locs an illusion of a thicker loc. So next time you wanna touch down on that frizz,let it alone and you will be glad you did.

4⃣ To that effect,it is advisable to shampoo your locs too:

When you shampoo your locs,what do you notice? Loose hair sticking out of your hair. Yeah that is what shampooing does,it raises up your hair cuticle giving it the illusion of a thicker hair. In relation to what I said earlier,do nothing about the loose hair.

Overall,you can achieve thicker locs by combining locs or by creating illusion of thicker locs by not taming your frizz.
